Touch Ceremony Today


Tyler Allison was selected to be Whistler's official community Olympic torchbearer. He will be passed the torch by Steve Podborski at 6:45pm and will light the Olympic Community cauldron at 7pm at Skier's Plaza (where the two gondolas meet in the village).

The Inukshuk is Here !

The long awaited giant rock sculpture has made its way to Village Gate blvd and Northlands blvd. I must say its quite impressive. However, I didn't realize the Inuit used Re bar and a Dewalt grinders to install them. Oh well. Check it out.
